What does an editorial month save you?

Three steps. First what you shoot, then what the spotting costs you today, and the saving falls out at the bottom. Everything after the watching is free, because it runs on your own Mac.

The fine print

What counts towards the meter.

• Counted · every run, for the footage it reads. A run reads the whole interview again, so a second run on the same interview counts its hours again. An hour of interview counts as one hour. An hour of B-roll counts as 2 when the card is indexed, because a card is hundreds of separate shots to look at rather than one transcript to read.
• Not counted · checking your brief before a run, rebuilding the cut, previewing, exporting timelines, cutting sub-clips and building B-roll edits from a card that is already indexed. A run that stops halfway and resumes is never counted twice. The app shows what a run will use before it starts.
• Carry-over, from Solo up · on Solo and above, hours you do not use move into the next month and your balance tops out at twice your monthly hours. A quiet month is not wasted, and six quiet months do not pile up into a backlog. On Start the hours reset each month.
• Running out · a month that runs long can add hours without changing plan, and the app shows the balance before a run starts.
• No second invoice · the reasoning is covered by the plan. No Anthropic account, no API key, nothing to set up.
